Semi-Permanent Makeup

Microblading, also referred to as semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo or micropigmentation, is the process of implanting colour pigment beneath the surface of the skin by means of tiny, sterile, disposable needles to produce the appearance of perfected brows.

How long will they last?

Your touch-up which takes place 6-8 weeks after your initial session is included. The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will not wash off, however, it will fade over time and may need a touch-up every 1-2 years after that. Frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including: the pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster), sun exposure and iron deficiency (pigment is iron-oxide based).

Does it hurt?

A topical anesthetic cream and gel are used for numbing before and during your procedure. Pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the entirety of the procedure. Having this service performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during your procedure. A homeopathic medicine called Arnicare is available for purchase and greatly reduces swelling and inflammation and has no contraindications to any medications. I highly recommend taking before and or after the procedure.
